After promos!!!=DD

sorry, i know i didnt update for a super super long time.....So anyways, back to blogging!!and my comp crashed. I'm now using my sch comp.

promos promos promos...almost everyone i met cant escape the topic of promos. Eh....i think compared to mid-year, i was more prepared for promos. At least i started studying before the study break. But chemistry is a major failure. Instead of dividing, I multiplied. So the answer was like third order with respect to X??? I stare at the question for a long time and i still didnt know the mistake!!

Anyways, im now so free after promos, i practically have to find something to do everyday!!Except PW of course.=p

Class outing!=D

Sorry, its kind of very late already, i should have posted this long ago. But nevermind. Anyways, during the class outing, we went to this fast food place called 'popeye'. And i didnt even know it existed.

So Qiuying, Li hsien, Pamela, Charlene and i were eating on this small table while Qiuying was saying ghost story. Pamela is like, can repeat again? haha. So we were talking about this 'hell girl' story and saying how fake it was. hmmm....i still remember its something about this guy named James and his ever-forgiving ex-girlfriend.

Then we took a class photo and hugged one another. Nadia look so much taller in her dress. And Wei Zhen was so sad that we had to leave because it will be long later after her clique get to meet again. Sighs. At least i have Li Hsien.=D

haha, then we also went to buy the pen refills and we met again with pamela and charlene whom we just said 'bye' to. Lol. And Sherly was talking about how the language of the poly people and the JC people are different. JC people say cool, great and poly people say awesome! haha, we talked about lots of stuff of poly.

weird happenings 3

This is a summary of what happened throughout the time in S*star which i find it is really weird. Firstly, when i first came to s*star, there's this teacher( Mr. Chen) who said i have the same name as his sister. Ever since then, he will always go," YEES, shirley tan?".Its always with the 'tan'. There's never a time he call me 'shirley'. Then after that, Miss Leow get to know that i am in s*star, then its like Miss Leow will talk to Mr. Chen about me!!

Then the seniors are so good to me. I don't know what's with me but i'm just closer with my seniors then the people of my batch. Weird. They encouraged me, helped me with these and that, joked with me...so on and so forth. Thank goodness, somehow. During pw, i was trying my best to cut my words but i just couldn't find any.Then Fendy helped me. And then the other time i wanted to chat with my IC of the team i was in during CIP. I planned to only say 'hi'. And after that he nagged at me for being so kong sian to play facebook. So somehow, after that i was motivated!

Then, during my birthday, they wished me happy birthday?Though they just simply wished me but its really unexpected!Usually on my birthday, only my best friends will wish me that.

Weird Happenings 2 and Mr. Weslie will be proud of this!=D

i think SRJC got a lot of weird happenings. My chemistry got a stunning A! I have never scored an A for my chemistry no matter how much i studied. And this time, i just studied only the day before? Li Hsien and I were at the study room, she was doing PW and I was busy helping her and studying chemistry. I still remember that she said that i was adaptable, able to change from PW to chemistry. Then the next day i took the test. I thought i was going to fail. Surprisingly, i remembered all the explainations fantastically and i scored an A. This is crazy. As i told Wenyi," i studied biology the week before and i just passed but i studied this the day before i got an A?"

Seriously, now i realise: JC is not about how much you are willing to study but its about how much your brain can absorb.

Ohs, and sad to say, today as i post this, was my chemistry SA1 paper. I screwed the whole thing up. I planned to do section B first, instead of MCQ. Trying out this new method. I was thinking maybe since i am good at explaining things, i should start by filling in all the explainations. I turned to the explaination part and was stunned. I could not do.

Anyway, to summarize, take this good advice from me: NEVER DO SECTION B FIRST. Or you will be like me, i took so much time to do section B(which i still could not do), i had to guess for section A. Between two choices, i just guessed. I know how to work out but there's just wasn't enough time. And i did not do 5 of my MCQ.

I'm so gonna fail this SA1 and get my second 'ungraded' again. Sighs. And im sure if mr. weslie read this post, he will be happy and sad like me. =D>>>=(

Jie-mei outing=D

Sunday was so fun!!i woke up at 7.00 and met my jie(otherwise known as Joan) at bedok mrt for cycling at east coast park. Since it was raining, we decided to go her house first after eating breakfast with her.

Her house-pretty nice i should say. Her ah ma and her mom are at home and sort of welcomed me a lot. After that we made banana milkshake using her blender. Yum!!i reccommend of course....my uncle thought me how to do and i taught her. =P i still think about that milkshake!!

Then when the rain stopped, we went to east coast park to cycle!haha, we nearly banged into each other!it was great exercising and it was cooling-it was slightly drizzling but who cares?Fun is the most important!

LI HSIEN WILL LOVE THIS PART. My jie bought a camera that is so high-technology. If im not wrong, it costed $1000+? Probably took up a lot of my jie's savings. She works after all. Anyway, we had fun taking photos and playing with it. Too bad i didnt manage to take any photo of her, i seriously could not understand how it functions.

Time flies by man- we ate lunch at this coffeeshop at marine parade. i had pontian noodles, she-chicken rice. Then it was bye-MY JIE FLYING OFF TO CAMBODIA NEXT WEEK!!Woohooo....wish her a great journey!!Bon voyage!!

weird happenings....

Wow!!its certainly a weird week.....Firstly i got an A for geog. Plus a free chocolate from mr teo to go with it=D
this is the first time i got a for geog other than o lvl!!Miss fang and mr teo would be happy to see this on my blog!!XD

But there's a cost i 'paid'. My bio test i failed by 0.5 mark!!not exactly fail, if you count jc standard. But to me, my heart nearly broke into pieces!!Its 14.5/30....failed if you count secondary. My bio!!T_T

To think i have failed bio. i remembered the first few days when i started the syallabus, I swore never to let mr tan down. I didnt get an A for bio during o levels, and i think its thanks to spa. Practical failure. Mr tan asked me what grade did i get for bio and when i said b3, i can sense that his smile sort of disappeared for one second. After that, the smile was a sympathy smile. I told him sorry and he was like" its ok".

Mr. bio!!i, tan shirley, hereby swear that i will never fail bio test again. I will do to my utmost best. I will use my old method...a bit of waste of time but worthwhile the effort.I will do better as time goes by and by A level i want to get back that A i lost during o level!!i want to see a smile on your face...i want your smile to be like this: =D
Though i should say geog really rocks!!i ate my chocolate....it was amazingly the best i ever ate(even though its just a normal one)!!
